The LI-ion Fire Solution extinguisher is a water type fire extinguisher with the F-500 Encapsulator agent. This 4L Extinguisher has been manufactured and approved to Australian Standard AS/NZS1841.2 and tested as per the requirement of AS1850 for class A and F fires.
Extensive testing has been performed, and this encapsulator agent, performs exceptionally well against lithium-Ion Battery Fires.
We encourage you to discuss your individual fire needs with your Fire Service provider to ensure that you are covered for all Fire risks.
Ideal for batteries up to 2.8kWh. For larger risks, consider our 9L kit or contact us for more extensive protection options. Lithium-ion battery fires are highly aggressive, and it's best to combat them with volume. If you have multiple or larger batteries, consider purchasing multiple extinguishers or opting for a larger type.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE DISCONNECTED THE LITHIUM ION BATTERY FROM ITS CHARGER / POWER POINT. Or cut the power to your home / shop / factory. F-500s are water based and can conduct electricity. This extinguisher is not to be used on AC Power (100V AC or higher) electrical fires.

The 1.2m x 1.8m fire blanket meets EN13501-1:208 and Australian Standard AS/NZS3504. It is rated for 550 degrees with a spike temperature of 750 degrees, which makes it perform well against the high temperature of lithium-ion battery fires.
