Constructed of fibreglass, our 1.2x1.2m fire blanket can withstand temperatures up to 500 Celsius. It is packaged in a high quality, quick-release PVC container. This fire blanket is certified and approved AS/NZS 3504.
The CSIRO ActivFire Scheme is an Australian Government Agency who verify & certify fire products which may be installed into Federal and State Government Departments. All our fire blankets are ActivFire certified.
When to use:
- Class A fires – Ordinary combustibles
- Class B fires – Flammable and combustible liquids
- Class F fires – Cooking oils & Fats (limited)
Where to use:

Where not to use:
Due to its size the 1.2m x 1.2m fire blanket is more suited for small fires, such as small pan fires in kitchens. Although it will be useful in the case of a clothing fire, a larger fire blanket such as our 1.2m x 1.8m or 1.8m x 1.8m fire blankets would be recommended.
