The popular 4.5kg BE Fire Extinguisher is suitable for flammable liquid fires (Class B) and electrically energised equipment (Class E). Our full range is approved to AS/NZS 1841.5 and can also fight cooking oil and fat fires (Class F).
Large enough to extinguish a decent fire yet not too large and heavy to be handled by all, the versatility of the BE type extinguisher allows for safe use on B and E class fires.

GENERAL INFORMATION
BE Dry chemical powder (DCP) fire extinguishers are a highly versatile fire extinguisher. Great for combating most types of fire risks B and E. Dry chemical powder fire extinguishers are safe, versatile and suited to high- risk environments or where the fire hazards are mixed. They are well suited for use on fires involving flammable liquids and flammable gases. BE dry chemical powder fire extinguishers do not conduct electricity which makes them effective for use on electrical fires.
WHERE NOT TO USE
This dry powder fire extinguisher is not recommended for use on or nearby sensitive equipment such as computers etc. The residue can be vacuumed up once it has dried but it can be hard to remove if it has contacted a very hot surface.
